A little taxidermy lovebird, perched on a simple natural branch. Gorgeous vibrant colours. Unfortunately this bird was in moult when it came to me and was missing many feathers. I still wanted to try preserve its beauty so I’ve posed it in a sweet sleeping pose to mostly hide the missong feathers. Please see all photos. The lower than usual price reflects the feather condition, so grab a bargain if you are looking for a lovebird for your collection!
I would recommend adding a cover or keeping behind glass to keep your taxidermy protected if youre able to, to keep your bird in imaculate condition for many years to come. I use puffinplastics.co.uk for affordable arylic cases in bespoke sizes, and em-home for glass domes.
